PLAY & TRAIN $30.00

The purfect combo of academics & altheletics

We can help if you have a new puppy and want us to do foundational puppy training during their stay.

Play & Train will help your furry friend become confident, well-behaved and socially adept.

  • Introduction and implementation to potty training

  • Crate training ( good for vet visits, groomers & keeping puppies out of trouble/danger)

  • Whats my name? Introduction to recall

  • Threshold training (no bolting out the open door)

All dogs must be non-aggressive. If any dangerous behaviors are shown, and not easily corrected, you will be contacted to arrange pick up by either you, or your emergency contact.

All drop-offs and pick-ups are scheduled.

*Reservations will be confirmed only after intake form and vaccine records are received crystal@happytailspetservice.com

Payments accepted via Zelle & Cash.

We do not have a traditional lobby or front desk for check-in so  all drop-offs and pick-ups are done outside, in all weathers.

Regular playtime with other dogs has numerous benefits, including:

  • Being more comfortable around dogs and people

  • Providing safe socialization, enrichment and exercise

  • Staying physically fit. Pet obesity is a growing concern; according to the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention.

  • Leads to less doggie mischief at home

  • Finding their BFF (Best Furry Friend)

In any group play setting, there are some cons:

  • Learning to mark (more dogs = more scents)

  • Transmissible diseases (kennel cough, influenza, papilloma virus, etc)

  • Getting dirty (we are outside a LOT and have a pool)

  • Periodic scrapes/scratches

  • Increased risk of injury (torn ACL's, etc.)
